What new K-dramas can you watch this November? Fans can look forward to a mix of romantic and family comedies – not to mention gritty crime series. Kicking things off is Brewing Love, a rom-com which stars Kim Se-jeong (Business Proposal) and Bad Memory Eraser’s Lee Jong-won. Comedic actor Lee Yi-kyung (Welcome to Waikiki) leads Marry You as an unattractive bachelor in search of his dream partner.

Fans of the enemies-to-lovers trope should stay tuned for Face Me, which sees a cold and calculating plastic surgeon open up to a hot-headed detective as well as Love Your Enemy, which follows a pair of high school rivals after they reunite as adults. Netflix’s Mr. Plankton, a heartwarming, offbeat romantic-comedy will also premiere this month.

Meanwhile, Disney+ is set to premiere the highly anticipated Gangnam B-side, which tackles the dark sides of the famed Seoul party district, along with the second season of 2019 hit drama The Fiery Priest starring Kim Nam-gil. Other crime dramas arriving in November are When the Phone Rings and Parole Examiner Lee.

Brewing Love

Upcoming romantic-comedy Brewing Love stars Kim Se-jeong as Chae Yong-joo, a former member of the special force in the military who now works as a saleswoman for a liquor company. After working for her company for six years and becoming its top salesperson, she embarks on a mission to sell a new beer to save her branch from closing down.

Through her mission she meets Yoon Min-joo (Lee Jong-won), the CEO and brewmaster behind the new beer. A sensitive man who is naturally attuned to the emotions of others, he lives a quiet and peaceful life in a rural area. However, Yong-joo begins to pull him out of his shell.

Gangnam B-Side

Gangnam B-Side revolves around Kang Dong-woo (Jo Woo-jin), a detective who is estranged from his family and later shunned by his colleagues after leading a corruption bust in the police force. He moves to a quiet rural outpost, but is pulled back into the seedy underbelly of Seoul’s Gangnam district after his daughter’s friend, Kim Jae-hee (BIBI), goes missing.

Joining him in his search is Min Seo-jin (Ha Yoon-kyung), a prosecutor who decides to take on the case. They soon find themselves involved with Yoon Gil-ho (Ji Chang-wook), an outlaw and back-alley enforcer in Gangnam.

Face Me

Face Me follows Cha Jung-woo (Lee Min-ki), a famed plastic surgeon at the top of his industry. A former emergency doctor, he becomes a plastic surgeon after the death of his lover and stops connecting emotionally with his patients. After an unexplained patient death tarnishes his reputation, Jung-woo gets roped into a hospital social responsibility initiative to help victims of crime.

Over this time, he begins to regularly cross paths with Lee Min-hyung (Han Ji-hyun), a fearless and confident young detective who goes above and beyond to support victims. While their personalities initially clash, the pair eventually grow closer, and Min-hyung learns more about Jung-woo’s painful past.

Joining him in his investigation are prosecutor Park Kyung-sun (Lee Ha-nee), Seoul police detective Gu Dae-young (Kim Sung-kyun) and Busan police officer Gu Ja-young (BIBI).

Jae-mi is to marry the wealthy Eo Heung (Oh Jung-se), the successor of a major food company headed by his mother, Beom Ho-ja (Kim Hae-sook). Although his family disapproves of Jae-mi, they begrudgingly allow them to marry after Eo Heung tells them they are expecting a child. However, she runs away with Hae Jo on their wedding day.

Jung Ha-na (Jo Soo-min) is a civil servant who does not believe in marriage and wants to remain single. Through an unexpected turn of events, Ha-na is dispatched as part of a “marriage encouragement” to help Bong Cheol-hui get hitched.

The series also stars Girls’ Generation’s Kwon Yu-ri as An Seo-yun, an ace detective who catches criminals in hopes of making the world a better place, as well as Lee Hak-joo as Ji Myeong-seob, an arrogant and fearless successor to a wealthy chaebol family.

While the couple seem perfect to the public, their marriage was one of convenience. Behind closed doors, they rarely interact and do not have much of a relationship. One day, an unidentified man kidnaps Hui-joo and turns their lives inside out.
