NME celebrated a year of The Cover with a killer party in Singapore – here’s what went down

In May 2023, NME unveiled The Cover: our flagship editorial franchise that uplifts the best emerging talent in music with a weekly cover story. This month, we’re marking The Cover’s first anniversary – and what better way to celebrate than by throwing a massive party?

On May 9, NME took over Swee Lee Clarke Quay in Singapore for The Cover Party: Singapore Edition, inviting artists, partners and fellow lovers of music to toast to The Cover and NME’s mission of breaking what’s new and what’s next. We’ll keep the party going with another shindig in London in a few weeks’ time – but for now, relive all the action from Singapore with our photos below…

Taking place during Branded’s CreatorWeek 2024, The Cover Party: Singapore Edition welcomed attendees from the region who’d flown in for the festival and conference – like Manila rockers One Click Straight, who went on to play their own gig later that night
