When is ‘Bridgerton’ season three part two coming out?
After a two year wait, Bridgerton returns in 2024 with another batch of episodes.
Created by Chris Van Dusen, the period drama revolves around the fictional Bridgerton family as they navigate London high society in the early 1800s.
The show is based on the books by Julia Quinn, with the third season adapting her fourth Regency romance novel, Romancing Mister Bridgerton.
Following the second season, a spin-off titled Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story was released in May 2023. The first four episodes of season three arrived on May 16, 2024.
When is Bridgerton season 3 part 2 released on Netflix?
The remaining four episodes of season three will be released on June 13, so there’s only a month to wait for the concluding half.
Has season 4 been confirmed?
Bridgerton was renewed for a third and fourth season back in April 2021, so another batch of episodes is already in the pipeline – although an exact release date is unknown.
It seems like there’s plans for more seasons and spin-offs too. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter in 2022, showrunner Chris Van Dusen said he hopes the show will eventually cover all eight of Julia Quinn’s books.
“It’s really any creator’s goal to create characters that can sustain the lifetime of a series, and in this case, I was able to even create characters that could sustain an entire franchise and multiple series, like what’s happening with Queen Charlotte,’ he said.
“So, it’s a show that’s turning to multiple shows, and the franchise has really been able to expand, so I’m definitely excited to see where else you can go.”
For the third season, Adjoa Andoh, Jonathan Bailey, Nicola Coughlan, Luke Newton, Claudia Jessie, Luke Thompson and Simone Ashley all reprise their roles. Hannah Dodd, meanwhile, takes over the role of Francesca Bridgerton after the original actor Ruby Stokes left the show during season two.
