K-pop girl group EVERGLOW have begun teasing their upcoming return with ‘Zombie’.

Earlier today (May 21) at midnight KST, the six-member act unveiled the promotional schedule poster for their fifth single album ‘Zombie’, which will arrive on June 10 at 6pm KST. Other notable dates on the poster include the release of its tracklist on May 29 and a music video teaser on June 3.

‘Zombie’ will be EVERGLOW’s first release of 2024, arriving about 10 months after their last single album ‘All My Girls’, which was led by the title track ‘Slay’. That release came after the group’s hiatus spanning over a year, following member Yiren’s return to China for family and academic reasons. The singer returned to South Korea and continued promoting with the group at the end of 2022.

“We had a hiatus for almost two years, and we felt like it was very long, and thinking of our fans, how much longer would it have been for them? They must have been so worried,” leader Sihyeon said of their hiatus in an interview with NME last year, adding that they were “trying to make it up” to fans through their concerts.

Between November 2023 and February 2024, the group held their ‘All My Girls’ tour in North America and Europe, performing in cities like New York, Amsterdam, London and more.

In other K-pop news, EXO’s Suho has dropped a music video for his pre-release single ‘Cheese’ featuring labelmate Wendy of Red Velvet. The new track comes ahead of the EXO member’s third mini-album ‘1 to 3’, which arrives at the end of this month alongside its title track of the same name.
