Watch classic Jane’s Addiction line-up reunite and play new material at intimate London gig
Jane’s Addiction reunited the classic line-up, and performed at an intimate venue in London last night (May 23). Check out footage of the set below, including their rendition of a new track called ‘Imminent Redemption’.
Held at the 400-capacity Bush Hall venue in Shepherds Bush, the gig marked the first live show with Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro, Stephen Perkins and Eric Avery in over 14 years, and the first of their UK tour dates.
The iconic ‘90s group reunited with bassist Eric Avery back in 2022 – following his departure in 2010. However, the time since has seen Dave Navarro absent from all live dates due to an extended battle with long COVID. Up until last night, he had been replaced on stage by both Queen Of The Stone Age’s Troy Van Leeuwen and former Red Hot Chili Pepper, Josh Klinghoffer.
Now, ahead of the band embarking on their upcoming shows across the UK and Europe, including two stops at London’s Roundhouse next week, the four of them took to the stage again and played their first gig with the classic line-up since 2010.
Starting the intimate show, the band mixed up the set by opening with ‘Kettle Whistle’ – their first time performing it with Navarro since 2001. From there, they played renditions of fan favourites including ‘Been Caught Stealing’, ‘Mountain Song’ and ‘Stop!’, as well as introducing some newer songs into the setlist.
These included both the 2023 track ‘True Love’, which marked their first new song in a decade, and another new track called ‘Imminent Redemption’. After the performance of the latter, frontman Perry Farrell joked that the song felt fitting with the news of the upcoming General Election, saying that announcing the news was “the first right thing he’s [Rishi Sunak] done in his life”.
Find footage of the gig and the full setlist below.

Jane’s Addiction’s UK and European tour is set to continue on Monday (May 27) with their first of two shows at London’s Roundhouse. From there they’ll make stops in Glasgow and Manchester, before heading out for gigs in Hamburg, Paris, Luxembourg and more. Visit here for any remaining tickets.
The dates are some of their first shows since their mammoth tour with Smashing Pumpkins, and arrive after Farrell recently teased that new music is on the way.
If the new music turns out to be a full LP, it will be their first new album since 2011’s ‘The Great Escape Artist’. In the 12 years since the album was released, the band have shared a number of live records, as well as the standalone single ‘Another Soulmate’ in 2013.
More recently, both Farrell and Stephen Perkins embarked on a reunion and farewell tour with Porno For Pyros, and the frontman recently shared a 3-part docuseries about how he founded Lollapalooza on Paramount+, called Lolla: The Story of Lollapalooza.
