The Antlers and Okkervil River have announced a joint UK/Ireland and European tour for this year – find all the details below.

The two bands are due to hit the road together in the autumn for a run of seven shows, beginning in Dublin on October 26. They’ll then head to Leeds (27), Bristol (28), Brighton (29) and London (30).

From there, the groups will head to Denmark for gigs in Copenhagen (November 3) and Aarhus (4).

Tickets are on general sale now – you can buy yours here (UK/Ireland) and here (Europe).

Explaining the concept of the upcoming tour, dubbed ‘An Intimate Evening with…’, The Antlers wrote: “We’ll each do our own set (most likely a mix of solo/duo setups), followed by a combined set to close out the evening.

“The vibe will be intimate and somewhat stripped-down, and the songs will span our respective catalogues.”

Okkervil River’s Will Sheff, meanwhile, said he was “thrilled” to “be doing @theantlers / Okkervil co-headline extravaganza all the way across the Atlantic this Fall”.

Sheff added: “Playing a wide variety of our own songs and to play each others’ songs, accompanied by musical friends, in Ireland, England and Denmark this October and November.”

The two groups are currently touring together in North America. Check out the announcement post above.
