Drake hops on Snowd4y’s Plain White T’s remix ‘Wah Gwan Delilah’

Drake has jumped on Toronto rapper Snowd4y’s ‘Wah Gwan Delilah’ – listen to the track below.

Earlier today (June 4), Snowd4y shared a remix/cover of Plain White Ts’ ‘Hey There Delilah’ featuring a verse from Drake. The track – out now exclusively via Soundcloud – sees the two rappers alter the original Plain White T’s song to bizarre effect featuring parody-esque lyrics and a wealth of autotune.

Listen to ‘Wah Gwan Delilah’ below.

Drake raps on his verse: “Wah gwan, Delilah? Know I’m late ’cause there’s bare traffic / I just show my dog your ‘Gram / He said he knows a man that slapped it, I’m so cheesed / Your mademoiselle nights are geeked, I’m bent lowkey“.

Social media has since reacted to ‘Wah Gwan Delilah’, with several X users pondering if the track is AI, some calling it “unlistenable”, while others joked that listeners are being “punished” for the success of Kendrick Lamar‘s ‘Not Like Us’.

OVO rapper Hush has seemingly confirmed that the track is real, teasing that Snowd4y was dropping “one for the city” ahead of its release.

‘Wah Gwan Delilah’ is now the second release featuring Drake to drop since the last blow in his rap beef with Kendrick Lamar that unveiled throughout April and May. In late May, the Canadian rapper appeared on Sexxy Red’s ‘U My Everything’.

‘U My Everything’ was the first material recorded by Drake since dropping ‘The Heart Part 6’, which appeared to cap off an intense and viral back-and-forth between him and Kendrick Lamar.

The track featured verses where Drake claimed he fed Lamar false intel that first surfaced in the latter’s tracks ‘Meet the Grahams’, ‘Not Like Us’, ‘Euphoria’, and ‘6:16 in LA’. Lamar has yet to release a new track since ‘Not Like Us’, which has since garnered 69million views on YouTube.
