The latest stand-up special from actor and comedian Marlon Wayans, titled Marlon Wayans: Good Grief, is now streaming on Prime Video; it premiered globally on Wednesday (June 4).
The special was recorded at the iconic Apollo Theater in Harlem, and combines his physical comedy and heartfelt reflections on the recent loss of both his parents. Wayans uses humor to navigate through his grief, sharing touching and funny anecdotes about his father’s teachings, challenges of caring for elderly parents and criteria for joining the “Dead Mama Club,” according to the stand-up description.
Marlon Wayans, Rick Alvarez, Michael Rotenberg, Steve Harris, Craig Wayans and Troy Miller are credited as executive producers.
