Zach Bryan’s ‘Pink Skies’ Premieres Atop Hot Rock & Alternative Songs Chart

Zach Bryan’s “Pink Skies” debuts at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Rock & Alternative Songs and Hot Rock Songs charts dated June 8, becoming his third leader on each list.

The harmonica-infused single bows with 31.6 million official streams, 166,000 radio airplay audience impressions and 10,000 downloads sold in the United States from its May 24 release through May 30, according to Luminate.

The song is expected to introduce Bryan’s upcoming project, believed to be titled The Great American Bar Scene.

“Pink Skies” follows Bryan’s “I Remember Everything” (featuring Kacey Musgraves), which topped Hot Rock & Alternative Songs and Hot Rock Songs for 30 weeks each beginning last September, and “Something in the Orange,” which began a 20-week command on each chart in February 2023. “I Remember Everything” remains on the latest tallies, at Nos. 6 and 3, respectively, on the strength of 17.9 million streams, 1.6 million radio impressions and 1,000 sold.

The new single concurrently starts at No. 1 on the Rock Streaming Songs and Rock Digital Song Sales rankings.

“Pink Skies” also opens at No. 3 on Hot Country Songs, where it’s Bryan’s 10th top 10, and No. 6 on the all-format Billboard Hot 100, where it’s his third. “I Remember Everything” led the Hot 100 in its debut week and “Something in the Orange” reached No. 10.

The singer-songwriter has notched three top 10 albums on the Billboard 200, all in the past two years: American Heartbreak (No. 5, June 2022), his eponymous LP (No. 1 for two weeks, September 2023) and EP Boys of Faith (No. 8, October 2023).
