Megan Thee Stallion seemingly addresses “fake ass” A.I. sex tape
Megan Thee Stallion has seemingly responded to a recent A.I-generated sex tape that uses her likeness.
Over the weekend (June 8), the Houston rapper shared a tweet ahead of her headline show in Tampa, Florida, which many believe addressed the doctored video of her that recently surfaced.
“It’s really sick how y’all go out of the way to hurt me when you see me winning,” she wrote. “Y’all going too far, Fake ass shit. Just know today was your last day playing with me and I mean it.”

Many of Megan’s fans (known as The Hotties) speculated that the fake video is why Thee Stallion was seen crying on stage during her set at Tampa’s AMALIE Arena. While performing ‘Cobra‘ – the lead single for her upcoming third album, ‘Megan’ – the rapper got teary and struggled to rap the words to the song.
Fans have been showing their support for Megan online. Beneath the concert’s recap video, one fan told the ‘Traumazine’ star: “We love you so much, Meg. I’m so sorry you’re constantly dealing with foolishness but we got your back and will stand with you. Please continue to surround yourself with a team and family that will help protect you from social media at this point.”
“Meg, you are so LOVED,” another wrote. “They hating on you ‘cuz they can’t be you. You always keep pushing through that’s what they’re envious of! It’s giving main protagonist frfr. Your emotions will always be valid and expressing them wholeheartedly (whether it be in your songs or speeches), makes you such a wonderful and inspiring human being <3. We will always have your back no matter what, Meg. Me and the gyals are so excited to see you live soon. LYSM.”

In November, an A.I.-generated video made it seem like Cardi B was endorsing a Stimulus Cheque scam, using her voice to claim it could “put $16,000 in your pocket right now for free!”
Cardi responded in a tweet: “AI is crazy smh….another lawsuit that fell right on my lap… I love easy money.”
In the same month, Sexyy Red‘s likeness was used in the same scam. In a fake video, the St. Louis rapper was advertising how to get “free money” in what appears to be a stimulus check scam. Red quote-tweeted the video and wrote, “My lawyer bout to have a field day.”
The A.I. sex tape comes months after Thee Stallion’s former cameraman Emilio Garcia accused her of having sex in a car in front of him while touring in Spain in 2022 and made “sexual and fat-shaming comments” towards him.
The ‘Savage’ rapper responded via her lawyers, Mari Henderson and Alex Spiro, saying: “This is an employment claim for money – with no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her. We will deal with this in court.”
In other news, the rapper will be releasing her third album at the end of this month via her label, Hot Girl Production. You can pre-save the record here.
Megan Thee Stallion is still on the North American leg of her ‘Hot Girl Summer’ world tour, with GloRilla as her support act.
Soon, the tour will head to the UK and Europe without GloRilla, starting in Glasgow on July 4. She will also stop in Paris, Amsterdam, Birmingham and more before ending the leg in London’s O2 Arena on July 17.
