BLACKPINK’s Jennie teases unreleased solo song on TikTok
BLACKPINK singer Jennie has teased an unreleased solo song in a new post on TikTok.
BLACKPINK’s Jennie opened her new solo TikTok account earlier this week and has since starting to tease new music through posts. Yesterday (June 20), the K-pop star posted a new advertisement for the new Solo Buds earphone from Beats by Dre earphones.
Notably, the advertisement features an unreleased song by Jennie, which is also referred to as “untitled” in the clip. “Taken for granted, taken as hostage / Carried the baggage, carried the past us / As luck would have it, future was written / They didn’t plan for women to woman up,” she wraps on the verse.

So far this year, Jennie has released collaborations with Brockhampton’s Matt Champion on ‘Slow Motion’ and Zico on ‘Spot!’. The songs come shortly after the BLACKPINK star launched her own label called Odd Atelier in December 2023.
Jennie had Odd Atelier just weeks after she and her BLACKPINK bandmates renewed their group contracts with YG Entertainment, while subsequently letting their solo contracts with the label expire in favour of independent solo ventures for all four members.
Two other members of the group, Lisa and Jisoo, have also since launched their own solo companies, LLOUD and Blissoo, respectively. Meanwhile, Rosé recently signed with The Black Label, notably headed by longtime BLACKPINK producer Teddy Park.
Lisa has since announced her new solo single, ‘Rockstar’, which will be released on June 27 at 6pm ET / June 28 at 9am KST. It’ll be her first solo release since September 2021, when she released her two-track single album ‘LALISA’.
