KISS OF LIFE are ready for the summer in music video for ‘Sticky’
K-pop girl group KISS OF LIFE have released a music video for their new single ‘Sticky’.
The clip for ‘Sticky’, edited to look like a one-shot music video, follows KISS OF LIFE around a park and a nearby movie theatre as they sing and dance along to the upbeat new track.
“How long before we fall in love? / How long until we fall in love? / Oh, dive into our ocean, just the two of us / This somehow strange feeling melts away / Sticky, sticky, sticky sticky,” they sing on the chorus.
Speaking about the song to Korea JoongAng Daily, KISS OF LIFE’s Julie said that “refreshing concepts are usually associated with being pure and innocent, but they don’t have to be like that”, adding that their new single is “about us being brighter and happy”.
“We are saying that hot girls can also pull off a refreshing concept. We are happy, pleased and confident. That’s the way we interpret a refreshing concept,” she continued.” In addition to ‘Sticky’, the new single release includes one B-side titled ‘Te Quiero’.
‘Sticky’ comes two months after the girl group made a comeback with their single album ‘Midas Touch’ earlier this year. The release included the B-side track ‘Nothing’, which NME has since named one of the best K-pop songs of 2024 so far.
Following the release of ‘Midas Touch’, the KISS OF LIFE members released several collaborations with other artists. Natty teamed up with Korean-American singer Jay Park on the track ‘Taxi Blurr’ last month while rapper Julie featured on track ‘Magic’ from TWICE’s Nayeon’s mini-album ‘NA’.
KISS OF LIFE made their debut under S2 Entertainment in July 2023 with their self-titled EP, which included the lead single ‘Shhh’ and solo tracks by the members. They made their first comeback four months later with their second mini-album ‘Born to Be XX’ and title track ‘Bad News’.
