AC/DC played their first night at Wembley Stadium last night (July 3) – here’s the setlist and some fan footage.

After The Pretty Reckless played a set in support, the legendary Australian rockers got their 21-track set off with a performance of ‘If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)’ from their iconic 1979 album ‘Highway To Hell’, before going into ‘Back In Black’, one of their best-known songs.

Their set featured classic songs from across their 50-year career, as well as a couple from the most recent album, 2020’s ‘Power Up’. ‘Thunderstruck’, ‘Hells Bells’, ‘Shoot To Thrill’, ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll Train’ and ‘Dirty Deeds Done Cheap’ all got a runout.

The band finished their main set with a few classics in the form of ‘You Shook Me All Night Long’, ‘Highway To Hell’, ‘Whole Lotta Rosie’ and ‘Let There Be Rock’, during which the crowd were treated to a 20-minute Angus Young guitar solo.

A two-song encore followed, comprising ‘T.N.T.’ and ‘For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)’.

As well as Young on lead guitar, the lineup for this tour also features vocalist Brian Johnson and rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, with Matt Laug and Chris Chaney on drums and bass respectively. While long-standing bass guitarist Cliff Williams did perform at Power Trip festival last October, for the band’s first show in seven years, he hasn’t come out of retirement from touring for these dates. Neither has drummer Phil Rudd, who’s not toured since 2023.

The AC/DC High Voltage Dive Bar pop-up is currently open in London, too, giving fans the chance to check out some iconic props and exclusive merchandise. Among the goods on offer are the original Australian versions of their first two studio albums, ‘High Voltage’ and ‘T.N.T.’.

The pop-up is at The Vanguard in Stables Market, Camden, and is open from 2pm to 10pm today (July 4), as well as on July 5, 6, and 8. It’s open from midday until 10pm on July 7 for the second Wembley date.

The band are playing another show at Wembley on Sunday (July 7) before a string of European dates across Germany, Slovakia, Belgium and France, and finishing off at Dublin’s Croke Park on August 17. You can find Wembley and Croke Park tickets here.
