Oasis 2025 reunion tour: ballot closes as pre-sale time revealed

Oasis have shared details about when pre-sale tickets for their 2025 UK and Ireland reunion tour will go live.

Noel and Liam Gallagher came together earlier this week to confirm a massive run of comeback shows, dubbed Oasis Live ’25. All upcoming shows are due to be held next summer, the trek will see the brothers perform on stage together for the first time in 16 years.

Concerts are lined up for Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium, Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Dublin’s Croke Park, and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium, and yesterday (August 29), additional dates were announced for Manchester, London and Edinburgh in response to “unprecedented demand”. The full list of ticket prices was also published online.

Now, ahead of the general on sale commencing tomorrow morning (August 31), details about the pre-sale have been shared, with those tickets set to go live tonight.

“You have been selected in the Oasis Live ‘25 Ticket ballot to access the pre-sale,” reads a message sent to some lucky fans who completed the ballot entry earlier this week. “Here is your unique code to access the UK pre-sale, which takes place between 7pm and 10pm tonight”.

On Wednesday (28), Oasis reassured fans about the ballot following delays caused by an “unprecedented volume of entries”, and confirmed that not all successful applicants are guaranteed tickets.

“Success in the ballot will not guarantee tickets,” a statement read. “Tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis.” Those registering for the pre-sale ballot were required to answer a series of questions in a bid to keep it “fair and fan-focused”.

Customers needed to disclose how many Oasis shows they’ve been to (according to the form, “this will not have any bearing on your ballot application”) and were asked: “Who was the drummer in the initial Oasis line-up?” (their answer for this question must have been correct to qualify for the ballot).

As outlined in the update, the pre-sale will be live tonight between 7pm and 10pm, and can only be accessed via a code received in an email.

Tickets go on general sale at 9am BST/8am IST tomorrow (Saturday August 31) – you’ll be able to buy yours here (UK), and here (Ireland).

Elsewhere, Ticketmaster has outlined its strict rules for purchasing tickets – confirming that customers will only be able to order four tickets per household and card. Additionally, Oasis have partnered with resale platform Twickets where fans can buy unwanted tickets for no more than face value (plus booking fees).

Amid all the hype, there is currently talk about which previous Oasis members could be joining Liam and Noel on stage in 2025, with co-founder Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs reportedly on board.

Earlier reports claimed that “no other original Oasis member is expected to join the reunion”, and that “the members of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will step in”.

Meanwhile, fans have been revisiting the group’s final setlist from 2009 to get an idea of what they might play next year and reminiscing about how tickets to their iconic Knebworth shows cost less than £25. You can find NME’s dream setlist for the forthcoming gigs here.

There are whispers of a potential new Oasis album too, and plans are now “underway” for further Oasis Live ’25 concerts outside of Europe. In other news, Oasis have ruled out a headline performance at Glastonbury 2025 and will not be appearing at “any other festivals next year”.

Oasis Live ’25 is reportedly set to make a staggering £400million, and will follow the extended ‘Definitely Maybe’ 30th anniversary reissue, which was released today (Friday August 30).

Following the reunion news, information emerged about Liam and Noel’s top-secret photoshoot – where a new press shot (above) of the formerly estranged brothers was captured.
