Texas announce summer 2025 outdoor UK shows

Texas have announced a string of outdoor shows in the UK for next summer. Find all dates and ticket information below.

The iconic Scottish band, headlined by Sharleen Spiteri, recently wrapped up their 2024 UK Arena tour, which followed the release of last year’s compilation album, ‘The Very Best Of 1989 – 2023’.

Now, they’ve revealed they’ll be playing multiple outdoor shows next summer. They’ll kick off on June 15 with a performance at Lincoln Castle, before playing at Llangollen Pavilion on the 26th. Then, in July, they’ll play a previously announced set at Lancashire’s Lytham Green, before a show at Halifax’s Piece Hall. They then wrap up the mini tour with a show at Scarborough’s Open Air Theatre on July 26.

Tickets go on general sale at 9am this Friday (October 4), and you’ll be able to buy them here.

The band also recently announced that they will be headlining Edinburgh’s Hogmanay 2024 celebrations, taking place on December 31. The performance will see them joined by Edinburgh’s own Callum Beattie and comedian Susie McCabe who will return to host the event – leading the country in a countdown to midnight.

This year’s slot makes Texas the first band to headline the festival three times, having first appeared at the event back in 2005. Any remaining tickets can be found here.

Texas’ upcoming tour dates are:

DECEMBER 2024
31 – Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh

JUNE 2025
15 – Lincoln Castle, Lincoln
26 – Llangollen Pavilion, Llangollen

JULY 2025
6 – Lytham Green, Lancashire
25 – Piece Hall, Halifax
26 – Scarborough Open Air Theatre, Scarborough

As well as playing at next year’s Lytham Festival, the band will make more festival appearances throughout next summer, including a set at the Isle Of Wight Festival 2025 which runs from June 19 to 22.

This year, they played the iconic Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival. Spiteri thanked Glastonbury’s Emily Eavis for being a “massive supporter of female musicians” during the band’s performance.
