Fans Choose Greeicy & Jay Wheeler’s ‘¿Qué Te Pasó?’ as This Week’s Favorite New Music Latin

Greeicy and Jay Wheeler’s joint effort “¿Qué Te Pasó?” has topped this week’s new music Latin poll.

In a poll published on Friday (Oct. 4) — in support of the weekly New Music Latin roundup and playlist, curated by Billboard Latin and Billboard Español editors — music fans voted for the Colombian pop star’s and Puerto Rican artist’s first collaborative effort as their favorite music release of the week.

“¿Qué Te Pasó?,” which translates to “what happened to you,” generated 99% of the votes, beating out other new releases that dropped this week by Grupo Frontera’s “Hecha Pa’ Mí,” Manuel Turizo & Kapo’s “Qué Pecao,” and Enrique Iglesias’ “Espacio en Tu Corazón (Remix)” with Spanish pop artist Ana Mena, among others. (See the final results here.)

Coming in second place was Turizo & Kapo’s “Qué Pecao,” the former’s new pop-bachata tune following his 2022 “La Bachata” that topped the Billboard Tropical Airplay chart for 14 weeks.

Co-produced by Keityn, Filly Lima, NUP and Ciey L.E.X.V.Z., “¿Qué Te Pasó?” is backed by a romantic Kizomba melody that carries many emotions within its words, expressing a language of pain and the nostalgia of a breakup.

“Tell me what happened to you/ That overnight, I don’t feel you here/ I don’t go out during the day anymore; the night feels cold/ It hurts me to know that I lost you,” both artists sing in the chorus, creating an enchanting synergy.

In the most recent New Music Latin poll, music fans crowned Fariana’s sophomore studio album, Underwater, as the winner bringing in more than 80% of the votes. See the final results of this week’s new music Latin poll below here.
