Kaskade’s Wife Files for Divorce After 28 Years of Marriage

Kaskade‘s wife, Naomi Raddon, has filed for divorce from the electronic music producer after nearly 28 years of marriage.

A petition filed on October 16 in Los Angeles and reviewed by Billboard cites irreconcilable differences as the grounds for divorce. The couple married in August of 1996, with the filing listing July 22, 2024 as the date of separation.

The couple share three children, two over the age of 18 and one minor, who is 14. The filing requests joint custody of the child. A representative for Kaskade did not immediately respond to Billboard‘s request for comment.

Kaskade, 53, is considered one of the pioneers of EDM, helping bring the genre to the mainstream in the late aughts and early 2010s. A practicing Mormon, he’s also famous for being one of the few sober producers in dance music. This past February, he made history as the Super Bowl’s first ever in-game DJ and also played a historic set in 2021, when his headlining performance at Los Angeles’ then newly built SoFi Stadium become the venue’s first ever public show.

He and Deadmau5 also played a historic show in 2022, when the headlining set from their collaborative project Kx5 became the biggest ticketed global headlining dance event of 2022.

Raddon’s touring schedule in the years since has been characteristically heavy, as he’s played global festivals along with his residency at Zouk nightclub in Las Vegas. Last weekend alone, he played sets in Chicago, Provo, Las Vegas and Dallas. This week, the producer also announced a run of upcoming Christmas 2024 shows in New York City, Salt Lake City and Los Angeles.
