Clairo postpones Toronto shows due to “extreme exhaustion”

Clairo

Clairo has postponed her Toronto shows due to “extreme exhaustion”.

The singer is currently embarking on the US leg of her ‘Charm’ tour, where she was due to perform three shows starting yesterday (October 23) at Toronto’s Massey Hall. However, Clairo announced on X/Twitter today that she has made the decision to pull out of the show, citing “extreme exhaustion”.

“I know this is disappointing to everyone who bought tickets to see me play but I’m struggling with extreme exhaustion and have been advised to go home until our Boston shows”, she wrote. “I want you to experience the best show possible, and I’m not in a place to do that right now.”

When one fan questioned the timing of Clairo’s decision, as fans were apparently beginning to line up for the first Toronto show, Clairo responded: “The most I can say is I’m sorry and I’m trying to figure out everything & refunds etc in real time – I’m trying to survive.

“I know it’s not what you want to hear… tour[ing] can bring people to a point of no return.
I am returning in Boston as to not cancel more shows, love to you.”

Clairo will reschedule her Toronto shows and resume her tour in Boston, where she is due to play on October 28. See all remaining dates below and get tickets here:

In recent times, Clairo has told men to “stop yelling at me” at her concerts.

The singer made the proclamation on X/Twitter following her Portland show. “Portland was fun!” she began the message, adding: “Can the guys at my shows stop yelling at me :).”

In a follow-up post, Cottrill wrote: “To be clear, it’s fine that men enjoy my music. U don’t have to be embarrassed that U like my music . But when u come to my shows at least be respectful of me and other people in the audience! Thank you.”
