‘Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6’ player uncovers raining zombies easter egg
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 players have already uncovered one of the game’s more disgusting easter eggs, which makes it rain zombies.
Black Ops 6 launched on Friday (October 25) and players have already been putting a shift in. While multiplayer was available via early access beta tests, this weekend was the first time players could get involved with the single-player campaign and the return of round-based game-within-a-game Zombies.
Both of these game modes have been praised by fans, but it seems like there are a number of secrets to be uncovered. As well as a working diving board on the Vault map, developers Treyarch have also included a way for players to make it rain Zombies.
The easter egg can be found in Liberty Falls and is activated by shooting a head perched on the top of the church. Once hit, a number of zombies start falling from the sky and making a bit of a mess.

“That explains a lot. Must’ve hit that head on accident in my game because I was so confused when bodies were falling from the sky nonstop,” wrote one Black Ops 6 fan on Reddit. “At first I thought blowing up the head on the church was just for doing a fun ‘raining zombies’ effect but it actually has a lot of strategic value as the zombies that fall drop essence, scorestreaks (I’ve gotten chopper gunners from them) and a weapons rarity upgrade,” added another.
Players have also discovered that if they find and shoot the five bowling shoes hidden across the map, they’ll be transported to a disco bowling minigame.
Black Ops 6 is available now for PlayStation, Xbox and PC. It’s also the first Call Of Duty title to launch on Xbox Game Pass and experts have reported that the game could give Game Pass a boost of up to four million subscribers.
In other news, the creator of the original Life Is Strange has spoken out against the “hateful” backlash to Double Exposure’s narrative and the return of a familiar face.
