Watch the brand-new trailer for season two of Netflix’s ‘Zombieverse’
Netflix has released a brand-new trailer for the upcoming second season of its hit reality series Zombieverse.
The upcoming season of Zombieverse will star popular K-pop idols like Taeyeon, Kwon Eun-bi and Yook Sung-jae, as well as music producer Code Kunst, rapper Defconn and comedian Je Se-ho. Joining them are South Korean civil servant Kim Seon-tae and American celebrity chef Andre Rush.
They will also be joined by the full season one cast, which includes stars like Billlie’s Tsuki, Sweet Home actress Lee Si-young, comedian Park Na-rae, Single’s Inferno breakout star DEX and more.
Zombieverse follows its cast of celebrities as a group of “survivors” in a simulated zombie apocalypse complete with scare actors and environmental challenges. In order to “survive” the ordeal unscathed, the celebrities must team up for protection and shelter, and complete different challenges to progress in the game.
In season two, dubbed Zombieverse 2: New Blood, the cast arrive on an empty highway surrounded by wrecked cars, and begin to learn more about their situation. They become involved in a mission to create a vaccine for the zombie virus, which appears to involve important tasks such as the safe transportation of an infected person to a special location.
Other new settings featured in the trailer include underground tunnels, a swimming pool, subway, multipurpose gymnasium and more. Zombieverse 2: New Blood arrives exclusively on Netflix on November 19.
In other news, Netflix has also released an exciting new trailer for the highly anticipated second season of Squid Game. Starring Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun and Wi Ha-jun, as well as newcomers like T.O.P., Jo Yu-ri and Park Sung-hoon (The Glory), it arrives this December.
