Billboard’s Best Photography of 2024

With 2024 in the books, Billboard is celebrating another year of music coverage — much of which has been accompanied by original photography capturing some of the moment’s biggest artists, producers and industry game-changers.

Among those pictures are Billboard‘s incredible lineup of cover stars this year, from Olivia Rodrigo to Megan Thee Stallion, Sexyy Red, Usher, New Jeans, Tyla, Lainey Wilson, Camila Cabello, RIIZE, St. Vincent, Ty Dolla $ign, Charli XCX, Latto, Christian Nodal, A$AP Rocky, Playboi Carti, J Balvin, Shaboozey, LISA, PartyNextDoor, Young Miko, Tyler, the Creator and more. Those musicians and countless others were celebrated across Billboard‘s editorial packages this year – including genre, Power 100, sports, Women in Music, AAPI, Country Power Players, Latin Women in Music, Pride, R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players, Latin Power Players, the Grammys and touring – for which they gave introspective interviews and inspired content available in print and online throughout 2024 for readers to pore over.

Still more stars attended Billboard events — such as Women in Music and the Billboard Music Awards — in addition to external festivals and celebrations, where Billboard cameras were often on site to immortalize music history as it was being made. Other subjects who posed for Billboard’s lenes were the Red Clay Strays, Kylie Minogue, Linda Martell, Myles Smith, Teddy Swims, Justice, Tems, Dasha, KATSEYE, Victoria Monét, Brent Faiyaz, Julien Baker and Jack Antonoff, as well as executives and business pros such as Elliot Grainge, Rachelle Jean-Louis, Ollie Zhang, Tyler Arnold and John Branca.

From people to places and events, Billboard had lots to photograph in 2024. Keep reading to see some of the best photography of 2024 below.
