Alice Cooper announces summer 2025 UK shows
Alice Cooper has shared details of new UK shows set for later this year. Find the details below.
Announced today (January 28), the rock icon has confirmed two upcoming shows for the UK later this summer, marking his only performances in Scotland and Wales for 2025.
The first of the two shows will take place on July 22, and see the rock veterans and Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee head to Cardiff. The gig will be held at the Utilita Arena, and followed up by a show in Scotland the following night.
The latter is set for the Playhouse venue in Edinburgh on July 23, and set to see Cooper break out a number of fan favourites like ‘Under My Wheels’, ‘Schools Out’, ‘Poison’, ‘Billion Dollar Babies’ and ‘No More Mr Nice Guy’.
Both cities were chosen as neither made it onto the tour itinerary for Cooper last time.
“Cardiff and Edinburgh – you can’t escape! We missed you last year, but now we’re coming back. Alice would never let you down,” the singer said in a new statement. “Can’t wait to see all the Sick Things at our shows at Utilita Arena in Cardiff on July 22 and the Edinburgh Playhouse on July 23.”
Tickets go on sale this Friday (January 31) at 10am. Visit here to buy tickets and find a list of new shows below.
Alice Cooper’s UK tour dates 2025 are:
JULY
22 – Cardiff, Utilita Arena
23 – Edinburgh, Playhouse
According to a new press release, the shows will bring fans closer than ever to the show, incorporating “giant video screens blending the live action with pre-recorded scenes to delve deeper into Alice’s world.”
The show in Edinburgh will mark Cooper’s first stop at the historic venue in over two decades.
Upcoming tour dates also come in celebration of the singer’s latest studio album ‘Road’. Arriving back in 2023, the project came as a concept album and saw him accompanied by his long-running live band featuring Ryan Roxie (guitar), Chuck Garric (bass), Tommy Henrikson (guitar), Glen Sobel (drums), and Nita Strauss (guitar).
“For ‘Road’, I wanted the band to be involved in the foundation of all the songs,” Cooper explained. “I only see these guys when we’re on the road. So, I wanted them to be as tight as they are for the show but on all new material. When you have a band this good, I believe in showing it off, and this is my way of doing so.”
In other Alice Cooper news, last month saw the singer team up with his daughter Calico and guitar icon Slash for a motorcycle-themed kids’ song ‘Freewheelin”.
Just weeks later, he also joined forces with Judas Priest’s Rob Halford for a kid’s Christmas song called ‘My Christmas List’. Both were made in collaboration with the charity Rock For Children, and benefitted Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Center organisation – a non-profit that provides teenagers with after-school training in sound engineering, staging, lighting and video production.
