Blake lively compares herself to Khaleesi in ‘Game Of Thrones’, calls Taylor Swift and Ryan Reynolds her “dragons” in text to Justin Baldoni

The latest chapter of the legal battle between It Ends With Us stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has taken a new twist, with a text from Lively to Baldoni showing the Gossip Girl star comparing herself to Daenerys Targaryen from Game Of Thrones.

In a report by Daily Mail, texts submitted as part of Baldoni’s lawsuit against Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds show her making the comparison in the aftermath of a dispute over a rooftop scene in the film.

It read: “If you ever get around to watching Game Of Thrones, you’ll appreciate that I’m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have a few dragons. For better or worse, but usually for better. Because my dragons also protect those I fight for. So really, we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine. You will too, I can promise you”.

Screenshots of the text submitted to the US District Court have been circulated online. In Baldoni’s case, it is claimed that the “dragons” she is referring to are Reynolds and musician Taylor Swift, a close friend of the couple.

As part of his filing, Baldoni asserts that this is evident in a reply where he claims he “felt obliged” to text her saying he like her changes to the scene, adding that he “would have felt that without Ryan and Taylor”.

Lively sued Baldoni last month, accusing him of “inappropriate and unwelcome behaviour” and claiming he was trying to “destroy” her reputation. Baldoni has denied all accusations and countersued January 16, including Lively’s husband Ryan Reynolds and publicist Leslie Sloane in the suit.

In December, Baldoni sued The New York Times, which reported Lively’s allegations. In a statement to US outlet NPR, the newspaper said they “plan to vigorously defend against the lawsuit”.

On January 27, a six-minute voice note from Baldoni to Lively was published, where he appeared to apologise to his co-star and say “I am far from perfect. I am a flawed man”.
