Morgan Wallen’s ‘I’m the Problem’ Launches at No. 1 on Hot Country Songs Chart
Morgan Wallen monopolizes all five of Billboard’s country charts (dated Feb. 15) for a record-extending eighth time, highlighted by a No. 1 entrance on Hot Country Songs with his newest single, “I’m the Problem.”
Wallen also tops the Country Streaming Songs and Country Digital Song Sales charts with “I’m the Problem,” Country Airplay with “Love Somebody,” and Top Country Albums with One Thing at a Time.
Released Jan. 31, “I’m the Problem” becomes Wallen’s 10th No. 1 on Hot Country Songs, and his seventh to debut at the summit. The track, which he co-wrote, tallied 29.1 million official U.S. streams, 11.6 million in all-format radio audience and 15,000 sold in its opening week, according to Luminate. The East Tennessee native collects his record-extending 14th chart-topper on Country Streaming Songs, as well as his 15th leader on Country Digital Song Sales.
Meanwhile, One Thing at a Time rules Top Country Albums for a 73rd frame (45,000 equivalent album units, up 11%) and “Love Somebody” spends a third week at No. 1 on Country Airplay (33.7 million impressions).
Wallen accomplished his previous quintuple country chart coronations in 2023 (Feb. 25; March 4 and 11; and May 13-June 3). Only two other artists have scored such fivefold sweeps: Luke Combs (three times) and Kane Brown (once).
As previously reported, “I’m the Problem” soars in at No. 2 on the all-genre, multimetric Billboard Hot 100, becoming Wallen’s 13th top 10 hit.
The song is the title of Wallen’s upcoming album and tour. The 19-date North American stadium trek is set to begin June 20 at NRG Stadium in Houston.
