Neil Young to headline London’s BST Hyde Park 2025
Neil Young has been announced as the latest headliner for London’s BST Hyde Park 2025. Find all the details below.
The Canadian singer-songwriter will return to the capital on Friday July 11 as part of his ‘Love Earth’ world tour with the Chrome Hearts. It’ll follow Young’s bill-topping set at Glastonbury Festival in late June.
He’ll be joined in Hyde Park by Yusuf / Cat Stevens and Van Morrison, with further support acts to be confirmed later.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am GMT next Wednesday (March 5) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. Alternatively, Amex customers can access a pre-sale from the same time today (Friday February 28).
Young joins the previously announced BST Hyde Park 2025 headliners Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Zach Bryan, Noah Kahan and Jeff Lynne’s ELO.

He last performed at the London concert series in 2019, when he co-headlined alongside Bob Dylan. Young also topped the bill at BST with Crazy Horse in 2014.
Earlier this week, Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts confirmed upcoming tour dates in Ireland, mainland Europe and North America. The musician had previously teased the dates online, writing: “We will come together this summer.”
Young recently released his first track with his live band The Chrome Hearts, ‘Big Change’. He has since given an update on his debut album with the group, explaining that he hoped to release it in April ahead of a summer tour.
“It is in mastering now to make the vinyl, CD and digital copies,” Young wrote. “I am very happy and relieved to have this done in the short time it took. The album art has been completed and handed in with Jenice Heo. I am working on the lyric sheets now, hoping to hand-write the words and get them in, in time…”
He continued: “[The songs] feel fresh to me and I am very happy to have this all ready for you. It won’t be long now and it will be great to have new songs to play on the road this summer in Europe, the USA and Canada. We are looking forward to that!”
Young was announced as the first headliner for Glastonbury 2025 in early January, after he initially pulled out of the festival due to it being “a corporate turn-off”. The songwriting icon said: “We were told that BBC was now a partner in Glastonbury and wanted us to do a lot of things in a way we were not interested in.”
However, Young backtracked on these remarks shortly afterwards, admitting there had been “an error in the information received”. “Happily, the festival is now back on our itinerary and we look forward to playing! Hope to see you there!” he said
The musician first headlined Glastonbury Festival back in 2009 alongside Bruce Springsteen and Blur.
Meanwhile, Young released his “lost” album ‘Oceanside Countryside’ from the ’70s earlier this month, and recently shared his praise for the “great” new Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown.
