Watch Kacey Musgraves perform new song ‘She’s My Bitch’ in Nashville
Kacey Musgraves has performed a new song called ‘She’s My Bitch’ at a show in Nashville. Check out footage and the full setlist below.
The performance was held last Thursday (February 27) at a new venue in Nashville called The Pinnacle. Musgrave’s set marked the first-ever live performance to be held at the new 4,500-capacity space, and to make it even more memorable she broke out a new track for the first time.
Called ‘She’s My Bitch’, the currently unreleased track was performed 15 songs into the 25-song setlist, and saw the country singer pay tribute to her beloved dog called Pepper.
“She’s black and white, all ride or die/ More bark than bite/ She’s my bitch,” she sang in the opening verse.
“The star of the pack, no one’s talking smack/Yeah, she’s got my back/ She’s my bitch,” she added. “Who would’ve known when I took her home/ That I’d fall so in love/ Yeah, I’m her bitch.”
According to Variety, the love for Pepper wasn’t only coming from Musgraves that night, as the live debut saw members of the audience chant her pet’s name towards the end. Check out footage below.
The remainder of the show saw the singer-songwriter break out a number of fan favourites, as well as a handful of deep cuts to mark the occasion.
These include ‘Somebody To Love’, which Musgraves hasn’t integrated into her live shows in 10 years, and ‘Dandelion’ and ‘It Is What It Is’, which were both aired out for the first time since 2019.
Later in the show, ‘Fine’ was performed live for the first time since 2018, and she also performed her recent Grammy-winning track ‘The Architect. Check out more footage and the full setlist below.

As aforementioned, Musgraves recently took home a Grammy at the 2025 ceremony, winning in the Best Country Song category for her track ‘The Architect’.
The track featured on her sixth studio album ‘Deeper Well’, which arrived last year and was given a three-star review from NME. “‘Deeper Well’ vibrates with the excitement of a fresh start. The sixth LP from country crossover star Kacey Musgraves lives in a state of suspended animation, reeling out self-care mantras without worrying if they will seem embarrassing years later,” it read.
“Musgraves’ assertiveness feels like a real glimmer of light amid the sparse compositions that run through this thoughtful, imperfect, down-to-earth record.”
The show in Nashville also comes as the singer-songwriter’s team shut down online speculation that she threw shade at Beyoncé during the latter’s win for Best Country Album at the 2025 Grammys.
Bey took home the trophy for her country-inspired LP ‘Cowboy Carter’, and a brief clip of Musgrave reacting soon went viral online – with some viewers suggesting she was unhappy with the result.
“It’s a sensationalistic false narrative meant to pit two talented female artists against each other,” her team shared in a statement shortly afterwards. “There was simply no scowl or expression made.”
Beyoncé became the first Black woman to reach Number One on the US country chart with ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ and the first Black woman to score a Number One country album in the US charts. She is the most Grammy-nominated artist of all time, with a total of 99 under her belt. The singer has won the most Grammys of any act too, having taken home 35 awards overall.
