Watch Scowl make their raucous TV debut with ‘Tonight (I’m Afraid)’ on ‘Colbert’

Scowl have made their anticipated TV debut, performing on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert – check out their performance below.

The Santa Cruz hardcore band performed on the April 9 episode of the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, marking their first-ever TV appearance. For the performance, Scowl played ‘Tonight (I’m Afraid)’, taken off their recent sophomore album ‘Are We All Angels’.

The performance started off low and tame, digging into the song’s alt-rock sound before cranking this up for a riotous hardcore finish, backed by vocalist Kat Moss’ piercing screams.

Check out the energetic performance below.

Scowl – who are cover stars for NME‘s March/April 2025 magazine, and February’s headliners for NME‘s flagship property The Cover – released their latest album ‘Are We All Angels’ last week (April 4).
