Listen to Barry Can’t Swim’s bittersweet new single ‘Kimpton’ featuring O’Flynn
Barry Can’t Swim has returned with ‘Kimpton’, the latest single from upcoming album ‘Loner’ – watch the video below.
Last month, the Scottish electronic producer and DJ – real name Joshua Mainnie – announced that his second studio album will be released on July 11 via Ninja Tune and you can pre-order/pre-save it here.
To follow on from the previous singles ‘Still Riding’, ‘The Person You’d Like To Be’ and ‘Different’, he has now shared ‘Kimpton’, a track that fluctuates between bright, positive energy and tender melancholy. Mainnie worked on the song alongside fellow producer O’Flynn.
Check out the single and its album artwork below.

‘Loner’ will follow the producer’s 2023 debut LP ‘When Will We Land?’. Speaking about his second album in a press release, the DJ shared: “If my first album was a collage of all the music I loved and was inspired by growing up, then this album is the most authentic expression I could offer of myself and my life over the past year.”
