Back to the ballroom! Dancing With the Stars is celebrating its 500th episode on Tuesday (Nov. 12).
The celebration will kick off with a group performance to Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love” choreographed by Pasha Pashkov and Daniella Karagach. The dance routine is a nod to the first episode of DWTS, which featured a performance to “Crazy in Love.”
Tonight’s episode will look back at some of the show’s unforgettable moments since debuting in 2005, Additionally, the episode is expected to feature “return of fan favorites,” according to a press release and tribute dances from current constants. Each couple will put their own spin on dances inspired by the previous 32 seasons. The dance lineup includes the quickstep, Argentine tango, Viennese waltz and an “Instant Dance Challenge” where contestants won’t know the dance style or music until five minutes before the performance.
Season 33 featured 13 contestants hoping to win a mirrorball trophy but only six couples remain. The season premiere opened with a dance number to “Set My Heart on Fire (I’m Alive x And the Beat Goes On)” by Majestic, The Jammin Kid and Céline Dion, choreographed by Jamal Sims.
