Youn is the latest to join the so-far star-studded cast of Beef season two. Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Menton and Cailee Spaeny were previously announced to star on the show, per People. Season one director, showrunner and executive producer Lee Sung-jin will be returning to direct the second season.
Season one of Beef featured two strangers, portrayed by Yeun and Wong, whose lives get entangled after a road rage incident, which festers into a prolonged feud. Since it premiered, the comedy-drama went on to receive five Emmy Awards, including for Outstanding Limited Series, Outstanding Writing, and Outstanding Lead Actor.
Although neither a premiere date nor teasers have been released for the new season of Beef, they are expected to be shared in the coming months.
