BABYMONSTER return with music video for new single, ‘Forever’
Rookie K-pop girl group BABYMONSTER have unveiled the music video for their new single ‘Forever’.
Today (July 1), BABYMONSTER released their digital single ‘Forever’, a pre-release single from their first studio album due out in the fall. At the time of publishing, YG Entertainment has yet to unveil further details for the upcoming record.
The new music video for ‘Forever’ opens with the BABYMONSTER members waking up in a luxurious hotel suite to VIP invitation cards. The group get their hair and makeup done, posing confidently for a photoshoot before walking the runway at a fashion show.
“Baby, it was all a dream / You thought I was yours / Don’t get it twisted / It’s bitter, it’s sweet / High up in the sky / I’m spreading my wings / Like imma live forever,” they sing on the chorus.
‘Forever’ comes three months after the girl group released their debut mini-album ‘BABYMONS7ER’, which included tracks like ‘Sheesh’, and ‘Like That’. That record also marked their first release as a complete group.
While member Ahyeon was confirmed to be part of the girl group before their debut, she did not participate in the group’s activities until their EP release due to undisclosed health issues. Prior to that, the group released two singles – ‘Batter Up’ and ‘Stuck In The Middle’ – as a six-piece.
In other K-pop news, girl group aespa kicked off their ‘SYNK: Parallel Line’ world tour in Seoul over the weekend. At the concerts, the quartet surprised fans with performances of brand-new unreleased solo tracks.
