Bad Bunny Gets Intro From Lady Gaga, Performs ‘Un Preview’ & ‘Monaco’ on ‘Saturday Night Live’
Bad Bunny pulled double duty as host and musical guest during Saturday Night Live on Oct. 21.
In between his comical sketches alongside Mick Jagger and Pedro Pascal, the Puerto Rican star delivered two songs from his fifth studio album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana.
Prior to his first performance of “Un Preview,” Benito got a surprise introduction from Lady Gaga. “Nueva York! Puerto Rico y todo el corillo, Bad Bunny!” the pop superstar and actress announced in her best Spanish accent. From there, Bunny delivered the track in amid a solid white background and coin-operated rocking horse, similar to the one seen the song’s music video.
Bad Bunny returned later in the episode — this time introduced by Last of Us star Pascal — for a dramatic performance of “Monaco,” which featured a pair of violinists and suited men in masks surrounding the musician at an elaborate dinner table.
The star-studded SNL episode also featured cameos by Jagger and Pascal. The iconic Rolling Stones frontman appeared in a Spanish telenovela skit and Sister Act 3 parody, while The Mandalorian star helped translate the rapper-singer’s monologue and appeared alongside him in a sketch about an overprotective mother.
Bad Bunny, who previously appeared as a guest on SNL in 2021, recently celebrated the release of his latest album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana. The set serves as a follow-up to his blockbuster 2022 album, Un Verano Sin Ti, which topped the Billboard 200 for 13 weeks.
