‘Baldur’s Gate 3’ player creates a very evil Taylor Swift
A Baldur’s Gate 3 player has customised their character to look like Taylor Swift, however, they’ve selected an extremely bloody origin story for the bard.
In the role-playing game, players have the option to create their own character or embody one of the eight origin stories – Astarion, Gale, Lae’zel, Wyll, Karlach, Shadowheart and the Dark Urge.
That last one causes the character to battle with an internal impulse to kill others, which the player can choose to try to overcome.
Based on the screenshots that Reddit user mokomokojojo1 of their Taylor Swift, it seems that they were not totally successful in that task. Check it out below:
Other players were entertained with the implication of Taylor Swift as a Dark Urge character, commenting lyrics like, “It’s me, hi, I’m the problem, it’s me.”
Reddit user mokomokojojo1 shared that few are surviving in their Taylor Swift themed playthrough, with Karlach’s and Minthara’s decapitated heads in their inventory along with Gale’s severed arm.
NME gave Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour four out of five stars in its review, praising the production design throughout the “genre-hopping, time-travelling” journey that the film charts out for the viewer.
“Her performance alone at the piano of choice ‘Midnights’ cut ‘You’re On Your Own, Kid’, and the 10-minute version of ‘All Too Well’ that closes the ‘Red’ era, are spectacular reminders of what Taylor Swift can do with just an instrument and the power of her voice,” said Kevin EG Perry.
“Of course, as The Eras Tour proves time and again, Taylor Swift can do pretty much whatever she wants.”
In other gaming news, voting is open for The Golden Joystick Awards’ Ultimate Game Of The Year award, where fans can cast their vote for titles like Baldur’s Gate 3, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and more.
