Beyoncé Unboxes ‘CÉ NOIR’ Fragrance in New Video: ‘It’s Finally Here After Years of Hard Work’
The arrival of Beyoncé‘s CÉ NOIR fragrance is imminent, and it will be available for fans everywhere to smell soon — but in the meantime, the “Alien Superstar” singer took to Instagram on Wednesday (Oct. 25) to share a video of her unboxing the fragrance for the first time.
“This is my CÉ NOIR unboxing and it’s finally here after years of work, where I wanted something to be monolithic, and I wanted to have a little bit of intimacy, so right here, you can see inside the soul of the perfume,” she told the camera in a black-and-white video showing off the perfume’s angular design. “I actually spray this during the show a few times, gotta keep it fresh. And that is CE NOIR, say no more!”
Bey formally announced the perfume on Tuesday, revealing that it retails for $160 and is currently available for pre-order in the United States and Canada on her website. Bottles of CÉ NOIR will begin to ship next month, just in time for the holidays.
The 32-time Grammy winner’s latest fragrance features top notes of clementine and golden honey, heart notes of rose absolute and jasmine sambac, and base notes of Namibian myrrh and golden amber. While most fans looking to purchase CÉ NOIR will be blindly buying, fans who attended Bey’s Renaissance World Tour in Inglewood, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Tampa, Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington, D.C. and other cities on the North American part of the trek received sample strips of the perfume.
