Call Of Duty fans want the likes of Blade, Solid Snake and Bluey added to Black Ops 6 after a wave of “goofy” new skins.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 launched at the end of October, with developers promising an “authentic” and “realistic” game. However within a few weeks, players could unlock skins that transformed their elite soldier into a giant shark or massive raccoon. The cartoonish skins have kept coming with a number of festive opinions currently available to unlock.

Now players have taken to Reddit to petition developers to add even more new skins. One fan wants Wesley Snipes’ Blade introduced to Black Ops 6, while others suggested adorable children’s cartoon character Bluey and Metal Gear Solid’s brutal assassin Solid Snake.

Another has suggested Robert Downey Jr’s Kirk Lazarus from controversial comedy Tropic Thunder would be the perfect addition to the game. “Since we got all these goofy ass operators, how bout we go full crazy,” they added.

“I want to play as a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude,” replied one player.  A U.S. Army soldier? Sorry but not in Call Of Duty. You need to slap a Santa suit on him or maybe some soccer shorts,” said another. 

“If we’re posting iconic 90s characters we want as operator skins, these are my top 3,” wrote another player, suggesting Hannibal Lector from Silence Of The Lambs, Captain Hook from Robin Williams underrated Hook and the horrifying masked killer from ​​Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. “Austin Powers, Neo, Johnny Bravo,” replied one fan. “Sailor Moon would go so hard,” said another. 

Earlier this week, it was reported a bong gun would be coming to Black Ops 6 in the near future and players can currently indulge in snowball fights on the reworked Nuketown map. “On Nuketown Holiday, you can almost forget that you’re in the middle of a battle… albeit one where Operators exchange grenades instead of presents. Good luck out there,” reads an official blog.

In other news, Borderlands 4 and Mafia: The Old Country both have new trailers coming later this week, via The Game Awards.
