BLACKPINK’s Jisoo announces debut solo mini-album ‘Amortage’
BLACKPINK singer Jisoo has announced her upcoming debut solo mini-album, titled ‘Amortage’.
Over the weekend, Jisoo and her label Blissoo announced the K-pop idol’s new mini-album, titled ‘Amortage’. The announcement revealed both the record’s title and format, posted alongside a schedule for promotional material in the upcoming weeks.
Further details about the record’s tracklist, lead single and more are to be revealed at a later stage. ‘Amortage’ is due out in full on February 14.

Jisoo first teased her solo comeback earlier this month with a cryptic six-second clip of a polygraph machine, which also unveiled the release date of her new music for the first time. ‘Amortage’ will notably mark the K-pop idol’s first music since establishing Blissoo in early 2024, following her departure from long-time agency YG Entertainment.
The album will also be her first solo material since she first debuted as a soloist two years ago with the single album ‘Me’. Released in March 2023, that record included the title track ‘Flower’ and one B-side, ‘All Eyes On Me’.
In addition to her upcoming music, Jisoo will also star in Coupang Play and Prime Video’s original K-drama Newtopia, which will also feature The 8 Show actor Park Jeong-min. The apocalyptic romantic-comedy series marks the singer-actress’ second leading role, following 2021’s Snowdrop.
In other BLACKPINK news, bandmate Jennie also recently announced the forthcoming release of her debut solo album ‘Ruby’, out March 7. On top of her October 2024 single ‘Mantra’, the record will feature Childish Gambino, Doechii, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, FKJ and Kali Uchis as guest artists.
