BTS singer Jin has unveiled a new version of his solo song ‘Falling’ with ONE OK ROCK frontman Taka.

Earlier this month, Jin released his debut solo album ‘Happy’, which included the singles ‘I’ll Be There’ and ‘Running Wild’. Also included on the record is the B-side track ‘Falling’, which was co-produced and co-written by ONE OK ROCK’s vocalist Taka and guitarist Toru.

Today, the singer unveiled a new version of the song that includes vocals by the Japanese rock singer. “With the addition of Taka’s powerful voice, the song lets you feel the emotions of love in a new, deeper way,” Big Hit Music said of the new release in a statement.

In a four-star review of ‘Happy’, NME’s Rhian Daly described ‘Falling’ as a “winsome, whistling piece of indie-rock that’s full of desire”, and praised the record’s cheerfulness.

Jin made his solo debut in late 2022 with the single ‘The Astronaut’, which was co-written by Coldplay, shortly before enlisting for mandatory military service. The singer was officially discharged from service this June.

In other BTS news, vocalist V is set to release a duet version of ‘White Christmas’ in collaboration with the Bing Crosby estate. “Being a huge fan of [Crosby’s], I sang with the utmost sincerity and admiration for him, and I hope many people enjoy it as much as I enjoyed singing it,” said V in a press release.
