BTS’ Jung Kook Sets Solo ‘Golden Live on Stage’ Album Release Concert
Jung Kook is preparing to hit the stage solo. On Monday (Oct. 9), BIGHIT Music announced that the BTS vocalist will put on a concert following the release of his debut solo album, Golden, next month.
“We are excited to announce Jung Kook’s ‘Golden’ Live on Stage with the fans on Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, celebrating the release of Jung Kook’s solo album, Golden,” the record label wrote in a statement via social platform Weverse.
The event will take place at the Jangchung Arena in Seoul, South Korea, at 8 p.m. local time and will be available for fans unable to attend to stream (more information regarding streaming will be provided at a later date). According to the release, the Golden Live on Stage event will also “feature performances of various tracks in the album” — and if past BTS solo events are any indication, one of the other seven members may make an appearance during the show. Fans hoping to get tickets will need to be either ARMY members and Weverse global album purchasers.
The news comes amid the release of Jung Kook’s latest single “3D” with Jack Harlow. The track, which debuted on Sept. 29, gave fans a second taste of what they can expect from his solo debut album. “Seven” with Latto was the first look — and the track marked the BTS star’s first No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit, and earned Latto her highest-charting single to date. “3D” debuts at No. 5 on the Hot 100 this week, becoming Jung Kook’s second top 10 on the chart and Harlow’s fourth.
Golden is scheduled to arrive on Nov. 3.
