BTS pop-up ‘Monochrome’ heading to Los Angeles, Bangkok and more
An upcoming pop-up event called ‘Monochrome’ by K-pop boyband BTS has announced brand-new international locations.
Today (April 18), Big Hit Music announced the cities and dates BTS’ pop-up ‘Monochrome’ will be heading to in the upcoming months. They include Los Angeles, Bangkok, Jakarta and more, from April to June this year, with specifics dates varying per location.
According to Big Hit Music, the pop-up will revolve around the theme of “memory clouds”, which are “clouds containing memories of the time that BTS and ARMY spent together”, per Korea JoongAng Daily. It will include never-before-seen portraits of the K-pop idols, on-site events and more.

In other K-pop news, South Korean entertainment company HYBE, home to K-pop juggernauts BTS, have inked a new 10-year “global alliance” with Universal Music Group (UMG). It will give UMG “exclusive distribution rights” to HYBE releases for the next 10 years, while HYBE’s roster of artists will have access to the former’s “global network”.
