Bunnie XO Shares Adorable Throwback Video of Jelly Roll Proposing To Her Onstage at Deftones Show in 2016

True love is where you find it. And sometimes you find it at a Deftones show in Las Vegas. In honor of her eighth wedding anniversary to Jelly Roll, Bunnie XO posted footage of the singer’s surprise onstage proposal to her during a show by the “My Own Summer (Shove It)” band that led to their spur-of-the-moment Sin City wedding later that night.

“I am always getting asked all the time, ‘Where did you meet J? When did you start dating? Will we see wedding pictures, will we see video of you from before?,” Bunnie said in a video posted earlier this week. So, she made a compilation video featuring a bunch of never-before-seen footage that took fans on a romantic stroll down memory lane.

The clip opened with the first time she ever met the singer in 2015, seemingly in a dressing room backstage at show, with Bunnie admitting in voiceover that she had no idea why she was filming the scene. “I was just so drawn to him,” she said. They began talking to each other in February of 2016 after she broke up with her then-boyfriend and when Jelly went on tour with her pals in Cypress Hill that spring she said flew out to see one of the shows to spend a few “strictly platonic” days on the road with them.

By July of that year things started heating up when he visited her at home, as evidenced by a clip of their first make out session. A month later, she said he proposed to her on stage at that Deftones show in Vegas. “How f–king rock n’ roll is that?” she said.

In the video, Bunnie walked out on stage as Jelly hyped the crowd up and then dropped to one knee and gave a very on-brand proposal. “[I wanna know] will your fine a– marry my white trash a– tonight in Las Vegas?” Jelly asked. The answer, obviously, was yes, since the video then cuts to the boozy wedding ceremony later that night, during which Jelly said he wanted to spend “the rest of my life with you.”

Jelly Roll recently announced that his next album, Beautifully Broken, will drop on Oct. 11.
