‘Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6’ confirms “colossal” season one free update
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 has confirmed the launch of season one, which will bring a “colossal” amount of free content to the game.
Black Ops 6 released last week (October 26) and had a huge opening weekend, but now Activision Blizzard has confirmed when season one will begin.
Confirming an earlier leak, season one will launch November 14 and add “a colossal amount of free content like all-new multiplayer maps and modes, a terrifying new in-season zombies map.” The same day, the new Omnimovement system will be introduced to Call Of Duty: Warzone as will a number of Black Ops 6 weapons and loadout features.
Ahead of that, players have been able to play the new ‘Infected’ game, which launched earlier this week. “For new and returning players, an Infected match begins with one player randomly assigned as the starting infected,” say developers in a blog post. “The infected player’s goal is to eliminate all other players. Each time a survivor is eliminated, they will join the ranks of the undead, while the remaining survivors must keep the horde at bay until the match timer runs out.”
In the first week after launch, two new updates pave the way for Season 01 and beyond with the addition of two Multiplayer favourites: the Infected game mode and the original 1950s Nuketown map #BlackOps6

And from Friday (November 1), Black Ops 6 will be getting the remastered Nuketown map. “This homage to the version players first encountered in Call of Duty: Black Ops is an exact – though graphically much improved – version of the original, keeping the classic 1950s design of the Nevada testing site”
Since the game launched last week, players have been uncovering a number of easter eggs hidden across Black Ops 6, including a way to make it rain undead bodies in zombie map Liberty Falls.
In other news, the early reviews of VR game Alien: Rogue Incursion have been overwhelmingly positive, with some fans comparing it to franchise’s most heroic moments.
