‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’ has a new multiplayer trailer
Fans of the Call of Duty series have already seen both story and Zombies trailers for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, but now, the thing they’ve all been waiting for is here: a new multiplayer trailer.
The trailers for Black Ops 6‘s story and its fan-loved Zombies mode have both been revealed already, but most players spend the majority of their time with Call of Duty games competing against each other in the multiplayer modes. Now, we finally have a trailer for te upcoming game’s online offerings.
At the time of writing, it has already gotten over 11million views on YouTube. Featured heavily in the trailer is the new omnimovement manoeuvrability. It allows players to run and dive smoothly in any direction. In the trailer, players dive backwards to avoid incoming tomohawk axes and exploding RC cars.
There appear to be plenty of gadgets and killstreaks to get your hands on during the multiplayer shootouts, with guided rockets, exploding RC cars, helicopter support, and airstrikes all shown.
You’ll be able to engage with your opponents on 16 new maps, and the classic prestige system is returning. This allows you to reset your level and climb through the ranks again once you’ve achieved the highest level available.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be launching on Xbox Game Pass, PC, and PlayStation 5 October 25, 2024. So, if you’re subscribed to Microsoft’s game service you’ll be able to play it at no extra cost.
A fan-made Call of Duty mod titled H2M was recently shut down by Activision, allegedly over concerns it would impact sales for Black Ops 6.
In other news, Black Myth: Wukong already has a mod that adds Goku from Dragonball into the game. They’re both inspired by the Chinese novel Journey to the West.
