‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’ reveals a new story-rich ‘Zombies’ trailer
People tend to play Call of Duty for two things: multiplayer and Zombies. The latest Black Ops 6 trailer is a two and a half minute long video that focuses on the story to the latest Zombies mode.
The new trailer has amassed almost one million views in under a day, and it shows the members of Black Ops: Cold War‘s Requiem as they’re broken out of a prison in the Philippine Sea.
These people were betrayed by Edward Richtofen, a figure in the Call of Duty Zombie stories who has had a long history. The gang just seems excited to be able to get back at him for betraying them.
The cast of characters for this iteration of Zombies is Grigori Weaver, Mackenzie ‘Mac’ Carver, Elizabeth Grey, Oskar Strauss, and Stoney Maddox, also known as Raptor One. Also joining them are the pair that freed them from captivity, Maya Aguinaldo, a Filipina smuggler, and Dr. William Peck.
The Zombies plot has come a long way since World at War, and is now called the Dark Aether storyline. If you don’t much care for the story and are just interested in the action, Activision will be sharing information about the gameplay tomorrow, August 8.
Over on YouTube, fans have already noticed some Easter Eggs. “Just to let you guys know, when he turns up the music that is absolutely Pareidolia from the Shangri-La Easter Egg. Even music survived the Dark Aether,” wrote dfunkoid4390.
