‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’ searching for players error explained
The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta is here and it wouldn’t be a beta without some issues and the first has already cropped up. Some players are finding themselves at points stuck on the “searching for players” screen in the lobby.
Why is this error popping up? Is there anyway to fix it, and will it get fixed by Treyarch? Here is what we know.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 searching for players error is occurring during this early stage of the beta due to initial server issues. There is no way to fix this besides simply sitting and waiting to get into a match.
This issue is a much wider problem, however, with dozens of reports on social media and from the Call of Duty Updates account themselves of not being able to get into matches and being stuck on the “searching for players” screen endlessly. We are also running into this issue.
Therefore, the only option you have is to keep trying to matchmake until Treyarch add more servers and more people are able to get in. You can try to hop out of matchmaking and back in to try and fix the issue. There is a chance that restarting your game may also alleviate these problems and find you a match faster.
Be sure to keep an eye out on Treyarch’s social media and also the Call of Duty Updates X account, which will have the latest information and updates on server issues, downtime, or any other problems the game is facing.
For even more on the beta while you are waiting to find a game, be sure to check out all the beta rewards you can earn. On top of that, we have the full list of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 weapons and how to unlock them within the beta.
