Calvin Harris & Vick Hope Get Married in Northeast England
Calvin Harris is a married man. The producer tied the knot with radio host Vick Hope on Saturday (Sept. 9), according to People.
The couple, who have been engaged since last year, held their reception in a tent on the grounds of Hulne Priory, Alnwick, Northumberland, while the ceremony took place outside, according to the publication. The Sun UK reported that Nile Rodgers and his band Chic performed for guests, which included BBC Radio DJs Scott Mills, Vernon Kay and Jordan North.
Billboard has reached out to Harris’ team for more information.
“You know what, I was very overwhelmed by the interest in it, but I’m keeping my private life private,” Hope previously told Hello! Magazine about their relationship. “I’ve never really experienced this before about my private life, but it’s just for us.”
Harris recently reunited with Ellie Goulding for the trance anthem “Miracle,” marking the duo’s third collaboration in 10 years. Together, they hit No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 in August 2013 with “I Need Your Love.” Coming from Harris’ classic LP 18 Months, the song spent 25 weeks on the chart and served as a key track of the EDM era. 2014’s “Outside” — from Harris’ Motion — reached No. 29 on the Hot 100 and spent 20 weeks on the chart.
The Scottish DJ also returned to Coachella this year, following the release of his 2022 LP Funk Wav Bounces Vol. II, which featured collaborators including Halsey, Justin Timberlake, Snoop Dogg and many more.
