Camilo Gives Studio Tour Where ‘Cuatro’ & ‘Misión Imposible’ Were Created | Billboard News

With the release of Camilo’s new album Cuatro, he takes Billboard on a tour of his studio, where he’s created hits such as “Misión Imposible,” “Una Canción de Amor Para la Pulga” and many more. He goes in-depth about each aspect of the studio, his day-to-day schedule, his creative process with his team and more!

Camilo:
Hi, I’m Camilo and you’re watching Billboard News. Leila, welcome to the creative workshop.

Leila Cobo:
Thank you.

Camilo:
Is it really hot outside or no?

Leila Cobo:
It’s getting very hot outside, but in here it’s …

Camilo:
It’s nice in here.

Leila Cobo:
Perfect.

Camilo:
Welcome to the creative workshop. The whole album was made here in the creative workshop — everything. It was the first creative piece of the workshop. I dreamed of this. I dreamed that the album would be completely made here, from the first idea or the album to the final mastering of music. And the videos, handmade by us in our creative workshop. First, take a quick peek at everything. I’m going to give you a little tour. I have a special talent for making cortado. Do you want a small cortado?

Leila Cobo:
I want the Camilo cortado.

Camilo:
Yeah? Coming right up. Well, my dear … For me, one of the things I really enjoy the most about the creative workshop is to have the coffee that I like.

Leila Cobo:
As it is important.

Camilo:
It’s so important. It all came out. So now, we comb through it so that there are no air bubbles. Then we tap it a couple of times to make it go down. It also already has the measurement of the pressure that we like to use.

Leila Cobo:
I have never seen a coffee maker taking such care in making a coffee.

Camilo:
And there it should go up within the range of espresso, which went up perfectly.

Keep watching to learn more!
