Can you play split-screen in ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’?

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Play Split Screen: Two operators can be seen

Can you play split-screen in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6? With this year’s game being one of the most popular Call of Duty games in a long time, many players are hoping to be able to sit down with their friends and play together on the couch. But, is that possible or has the feature been abandoned once again.

Thankfully, we have some good news, but to access split-screen you will have to go through a few menus.

Yes, you can play split-screen in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. It can be accessed in multiplayer and Zombies by turning on a second controller and/or plugging it into your console. You can then hit the confirm button X/A. This will let you log in with your PSN or Xbox Live account or play as a guest.

Unfortunately, there are some limitations with this, as you cannot play with a friend locally on PS4, Xbox One, or PC according to players on those platforms. Additionally, multiplayer is limited in the modes you can play and you cannot play with more than two players.

This will definitely be disapointing to many who were hoping Black Ops 6 would return to the classic split-screen options we saw in previous games a decade or so ago. But, as with most games today, the feature isn’t available or has been severely stripped back. Either way, at least the game offers some split-screen options, even if they aren’t the most expansive.
