The Bronx native took to Instagram to share the news, where she was captured against the New York skyline in a sleek red dress.
Seemingly referencing news of her divorce from the Migos rapper (as per Page Six), Cardi began her caption: “With every ending comes a new beginning!
“I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!,” she continued. “Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!
“I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
Cardi B is also reportedly seeking “primary custody” of her two children with Migos, Kulture and Wave, with a source telling Page Six: “They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else. This is something she wants to do.”
“It’s not something that happened overnight,” the source added. “They’ve both been on the same page. There wasn’t [pushback]. They’ve grown apart and that feeling has gotten stronger over time. It’s become unavoidable.”
Elsewhere, Cardi has become increasingly outspoken against Donald Trump in the US Presidential race.
She criticised the former US President and current Republican candidate for promising police immunity, tweeting: “AFTER WATCHING SONYA MASSEY GET KILLED IN 4K …..just wow …he never changed.”
Cardi also recently reminded fans that she has endorsed Kamala Harris long before Joe Biden withdrew from the race.
