Winans won artist of the year, while Wilson won new artist of the year.
The trio will perform their collab "You're Drunk, Go Home."
Money raised from the gala goes toward MusiCares programs and services that assist the music community.
The duo each scored seven nods, while Ari Lennox has six, and Lizzo and Chris Brown have five.
Fans and acts of Brazil’s most popular genre had criticized the lack of recognition it received at the awards -- which Anitta dominated this year with three wins.
“We all made incredible albums, we all change people’s lives with our music and that's the most important thing," she says.
Applebaum and Thompson won the coveted songwriter of the year.
