A visit to the Soundstorm festival offers a window into the country's fast-changing culture — and the questions facing artists and fans who attend.

This year's event will take place in September on Central Park's Great Lawn, with more acts to be announced at a later date.
The event was slated to feature headliners Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood and Alabama.
The festival happens at Miami's Mana Wynwood in October.
